Imaginary Game Studios is an independent game studio making strange, smart, and seriously fun games.

We’re drawn to games built around a strong idea - whether that means turning movement into the heart of a first-person roguelite, transforming health planning into a game, or making something because the idea was simply too weird not to try.

Our goal isn’t to make the same game twice. We want each project to explore something new, surprise the people playing it, and above all, be worth their time.

You may also see the name Caxt Nova connected to our work. Caxt Nova is the online creator identity of the studio head behind Imaginary Game Studios, with gaming videos, streams, and other content that extends beyond the studio itself.

The two are connected, but they aren’t the same thing: Imaginary Game Studios is the home of our games. Caxt Nova is the creator behind them.
